Hand-made, only by Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, and named after the tall chestnut trees that stood on Blacksticks Lane where our family first made cheese in Lancashire four generations ago. Created in 2004, Blacksticks Blue is now a modern British classic. Subtle blue veining unfolds across this luscious soft cheese to combine a smooth, creamy flavour with a gentle, rounded blue cheese tang. For a Taste of the Unexpected try with a chilled sweet sherry and some sticky dried figs – it’s even better than chocolate!
Made at Wilson Fields Farm with pasteurised cows’ milk from the Butler family pedigree herd.
