Butlers is a true family business, our dairy is surrounded by farms owned by extended family, this is perfect on so many levels:

Food Miles Milk travels just a few miles to our dairy where it is pasturised and made into cheese that is then stored and matured before being packaged again just a few miles away in Longridge.

Provenance We know exactly where our milk comes from and those who look after the cows and goats are family, we all share the same values and pride.

Experience Cheesemaking is a huge part of our heritage, this includes dairy farming, pasturising, maturing and so on. We really do know cheesemaking like the back of our hands.
