Here at Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, Proper Cheese is nothing new, it's what we have been doing since day one, four generations ago. Up here in Lancashire, “proper” is the word we use for things done really well, by traditional craftspeople who really know what they are doing. No corners are cut, resulting in the highest quality imaginable.

We use Farmhouse in our name as traditionally we had to earn this right - a farmhouse cheesemaker had to meet a strict grade, including ensuring that the majority of your milk came from your own herd. We maintain these principles today and in our eyes they are as relevant as ever.

The cheese wrap should be recycled with plastic bags in supermarkets. Whilst you're there, you can also take other flexible plastic like bread bags, cereal bags, and toilet roll bags!

Crumbly Lancashire when cooked doesn't melt in the same way a Tasty Lancashire does, however don't let this put you off cooking with it. Crumbly Lancashire when being cooked bubbles, pair it on a puff pastry tart with a tomato base and vegetables for an easy lunch

Letterbox products are designed to fit through a regular letterbox. We post the products in accordance with APC timings based around the day you would like it dispatched, with 24 hour delivery.

Please note that one order will be delivered to one address. If you require delivery to two addresses then please place two orders.

We want your letterbox cheese gift to arrive in great condition, so to keep your gift as cool as possible on it's journey, we include an ice pack in your box.
