After His Majesty The King officially opened our cheese campus earlier this year, we have loved welcoming customers and partners to see the vision we had for our campus come to life - and see first-hand what it unlocks for the future of British farmhouse cheesemaking.
One of our recent visitors was Morgan McGlynn Carr.
Morgan runs the Cheese Shop in Muswell Hill in North London, is Channel 4’s resident cheese expert on Sunday Brunch for more than a decade and has judged at the World Cheese Awards for the past 10 years.
Over the last 20 years, Morgan has sold many of our cheeses in her shop, with Kidderton Ash a particular favourite among her customers, alongside Blacksticks Blue and Tunworth.
During her visit, we showed Morgan how we nuture our cheese from beginning to end on the farm, combining traditional farmhouse cheesemaking with technology to deliver consistency, quality and craft for our customers. Morgan is an expert in pairings (she has a book about them!) and so we simply had to share The King’s favourite Blacksticks pairing with her too.
We are incredibly proud to work with passionate, independent cheesemongers like Morgan, who play such an important role in helping more people discover and explore speciality cheeses, while building real relationships with the producers behind them.
As our next chapter continues, we are excited to be working more closely with Morgan over the coming year and sharing more of that journey together.
