Ravens Oak is a small, creamy white soft goats cheese that’s handmade traditionally and poured into small moulds. The cheese has a subtle nutty flavour reminiscent of almonds, which develop as the cheese naturally matures within its delicate white rind.
Ravens Oak is made at Wilson Fields Farm from the freshest goats milk from Nicola Butler’s herd on our family farm at the foot of Beacon Fell in rural Lancashire.
It’s perfect on a cheese board, along with great wine and great company. If you want to go to town, try baking a whole Ravens Oak as you would a Camembert and serving with caramelised red onions and loads of freshly baked crusty bread.
