All of our cheeses are handmade in our Farmhouse Dairy in rural Lancashire. The surrounding fields are grazed by the cows who provide our milk, many of whom are looked after by extended family. Goats from another family farm just down the road, also provide us with fresh milk. We believe Lancashire and our surrounding area in particular make such a big difference to the quality of our cheese, alongside, of course the skill and experience of our wonderful team of cheesemakers.

Lovely cheese.

"My husband and I finished some Roquefort and then started on this. Had it been a competition, Beacon Blue would have won in our opinion."

Susan W. (5/5)

A lucky accident, to now become a staple.

"Found this by accident in my local Aldi (Yeovil)… it'd been reduced because it was close to its sell by date (a daft idea on cheese), so as a lover of Dorset Blue Vinney, Piccante Gorgonzola, Roquefort, and various small producer French blues from near my brother's place in the Languedoc, I gave it a try. Polished off the pack (115g) too quickly (in one sitting, with some fresh strawberries), but it'll be in my next trolley even at full retail price ’cos it's superb."
