When making our Mrs Butler's Sage Lancashire Cheese, the curds are allowed to develop their unique taste and texture over a slow make. The curds are then mixed with fresh sage, filled into individual moulds, by our master cheesemakers, and cloth bound in the traditional way before careful maturation.

Our Creamy Lancashire wedge is cut from a big round cheese - traditionally cheese is made this way - no edges to the cheese means even maturation and results in a fantastic flavour (plus you can roll it, if you are that way inclined).
