Up here in Lancashire, “proper” is the word we use for things done really well, by traditional craftspeople who really know what they are doing. No corners are cut, resulting in the highest quality imaginable.
We have four cheeses in our range, each with different strengths and textures, so there is something to suit everyone’s taste buds.

This is Proper Red Leicester - Open Cheese

All of our cheeses are handmade in our Farmhouse Dairy in rural Lancashire. The surrounding fields are grazed by the cows who provide our milk, many of whom are looked after by extended family. Goats from another family farm just down the road, also provide us with fresh milk. We believe Lancashire and our surrounding area in particular make such a big difference to the quality of our cheese, alongside, of course the skill and experience of our wonderful team of cheesemakers.

There are two options for delivery via courier, RDS and APC.

Please note whilst RDS is a chilled courier, APC is not. For orders sent via APC we will ensure ice packs are within your parcel(s) to keep your order cool.

Both RDS and APC are sent on next day deliveries however due to conditions out of our control, we cannot guarantee next day delivery.

If we are arranging delivery of your order, please ensure your address and contact details on your order are completely correct, so that the couriers cannot blame the address should they not be able to find you.
