2024 has been quite the year for us at Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses. After the fire in November 2023, it’s been all about bouncing back, keeping the focus on what we do best—making proper, cracking cheese. Despite the challenges, we’ve kept going, and seeing our efforts rewarded feels extra special.
We’re happy to share that our cheeses have been stealing the show again this year. From local shows to international competitions, here’s a rundown of the awards we’ve scooped up so far...
Great Eccleston Show
The Great Eccleston Show has always been close to our hearts, and this year was no exception. We’re over the moon to have received several top honours:
- Supreme Champion for Blacksticks
- Reserve Champion for Ravens Oak
- Best Lancashire Cheese for Trotter Hill
- Second Prize for Kidderton Ash
International Cheese and Dairy Awards
Our cheeses got some serious love on the international stage this year too...

The Great Taste Awards are a big deal in the food world, so we’re especially proud to have been recognised yet again:

We didn’t stop there! The Chipping Show also saw us take home a fair few awards:
